‌316L stainless steel is a high-quality stainless steel material that belongs to the austenitic stainless steel series. ‌It has excellent corrosion resistance, antibacterial properties and good thermal insulation properties, and is widely used in high-end thermos cups, medical equipment, marine engineering, chemical equipment and other fields. ‌

The main components of 316L stainless steel include 16-18% chromium (Cr), 10-14% nickel (Ni) and 2-3% molybdenum (Mo), in addition to a small amount of carbon (C), manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S) and other elements. Among them, "L" stands for low carbon (Low Carbon), and its carbon content is usually less than 0.03%, which makes 316L less likely to produce carbide precipitation during welding, thereby enhancing its corrosion resistance.

Compared with other stainless steel materials, 316L has higher corrosion resistance and heat resistance, and is particularly suitable for environments containing acidic media.
